Children’s Church
Centerville Baptist Church believes that children are the future church. Scripture is clear regarding how Christians are to raise their children.
To this end, the church offers a Children’s Church for those from age three to six and a Jr. Church for those from age seven to twelve.
During these services, children are taught the practical age-appropriate application of God’s Word in a safe, engaging, and fun atmosphere.
The Lord Jesus Christ clearly demonstrated His love for children.
“But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Mathew 19:14
Bus Ministry
Each Sunday morning our buses start their engines and go out into the communities that surround Centerville to bring boys, girls, teenagers, and adults to Sunday school.
For over thirty years, faithful members of Centerville Baptist Church have spent time canvassing neighborhoods to find people who need transportation to Sunday school. Sunday mornings and afternoons are spent picking up and then dropping off bus riders.
The number of people who ride our buses each week are a testimony to the faithfulness of God to bless those who go out “into the highways and hedges” to bring souls into the house of God.
It is our desire to reach people in our communities with the gospel through the bus ministry of Centerville Baptist Church so that they may come to trust Jesus Christ as their Savior.
If you or someone you know needs transportation to church, please email or call us today.

Christian School
Centerville Christian School was founded in 1973 as a K-12 ministry to educate our children in a Christian environment, with Christian values, and with a Christ-centered curriculum.
We feature traditional classrooms with our curriculum coming from ABeka Video. The school is a member of the Old Dominion Association of Christian Schools (ODACS). A number of elective activities are also offered including computer, music, art, and sports. More information on our school can be received by calling or visiting the school office.
Since its establishment in 1973, the school has existed to encourage families committed to fulfilling the biblical mandate to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Prayer Ministry
Pray for our Church
“And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” Acts 2:44-47
